1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TikRec service, which includes the Telegram bot @tikrec_live_bot and the website tikrec.com (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using TikRec, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Service description

TikRec is an automated recording service for publicly available TikTok live streams. The Service operates as follows:

• Users add TikTok creator usernames to a personal watchlist via the Telegram bot
• TikRec monitors these creators and automatically records their live streams when detected
• Completed recordings are delivered as MP4 files directly to the user's Telegram chat
• The website tikrec.com provides a browsable archive of recorded streams with metadata, thumbnails, and links to the Telegram bot

TikRec records only publicly available streams. Private or subscriber-only content is not accessible to the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TikRec. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. User responsibilities

When using TikRec, you agree to:

• Use recordings solely for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not redistribute, re-upload, or publicly share recordings without the original creator's consent
• Not use the Service to stalk, harass, or monitor individuals for malicious purposes
• Not attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the bot, or interfere with service operations
• Not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service beyond its intended interface
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without prior notice.

5. Intellectual property and content

The content of recorded live streams belongs to the original TikTok creators. TikRec does not claim ownership, copyright, or any intellectual property rights over user-generated content that passes through the Service.

The TikRec name, logo, website design, and bot interface are our intellectual property and may not be copied, modified, or used without written permission.

TikRec operates as a technical recording tool similar to a DVR. We facilitate the recording of publicly available content at the user's request. Users are solely responsible for how they use the recordings they receive.

6. DMCA and content removal

TikRec respects the intellectual property rights of content creators. If you are a TikTok creator and believe that a recording of your live stream infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request to [email protected] with the following information:

• Your TikTok username and proof of account ownership
• Identification of the recording(s) you want removed (URL or recording ID)
• A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

We will process valid takedown requests within 5 business days and remove the identified content from our archive and website.

7. Payments and Telegram Stars

TikRec offers past recordings from other users' watchlists for purchase using Telegram Stars, Telegram's built-in digital currency.

• Prices are determined by recording duration and displayed before purchase
• All payment processing is handled by Telegram - TikRec does not store payment information
• Purchases are final once the recording has been successfully delivered to your chat
• If delivery fails for technical reasons, no Stars will be charged

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect previously completed purchases.

8. Service availability and limitations

TikRec is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• That every live stream will be detected and recorded
• Specific recording quality, as this depends on the original stream
• Delivery times for recordings, as these depend on file size and Telegram infrastructure
• Permanent availability of any recorded content in the archive

We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Service at any time, which may result in temporary interruptions. We will attempt to notify users of planned downtime through the bot when possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TikRec and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

This includes, without limitation, damages for lost recordings, missed live streams, service interruptions, data loss, or any other intangible losses.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount of Telegram Stars you have spent through the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Account termination

You may stop using TikRec at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use the account deletion option in the web dashboard settings at tikrec.com/settings, or contact [email protected].

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or negatively impact the Service for other users. Terminated accounts lose access to their watchlist and recording history.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
