TikRec ("we", "our", "us") operates the Telegram bot @tikrec_live_bot and the website tikrec.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from users of our service, how we use that information, and the choices you have regarding your data.

This policy applies only to information collected through our Telegram bot and website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through any other channel.

By using TikRec, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1 Telegram bot users

When you interact with @tikrec_live_bot, we automatically receive and store:

• Your Telegram user ID (numeric identifier assigned by Telegram)
• Your Telegram username and display name
• Your watchlist (TikTok usernames you choose to monitor)
• Command history and interaction timestamps

We do not have access to your phone number, contacts, or messages in other chats.

2.2 Website visitors

When you visit tikrec.com, we collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4, including:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referral source (how you arrived at our site)
• Device type, browser, and screen resolution
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP)
• Button clicks and navigation patterns

Google Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information. Your IP address is anonymized before processing.

2.3 Recording metadata

For each recorded live stream, we store metadata including the TikTok creator's username, live title, stream duration, file size, and a thumbnail image. Video files are stored on Telegram's infrastructure, not on our servers.

2.4 Payment information

Telegram Stars payments are processed entirely by Telegram. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing address.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver recorded live streams to your Telegram chat
• Manage your watchlist and send live notifications
• Process Telegram Stars transactions for past recordings
• Maintain and improve the service
• Analyze anonymous usage patterns to optimize the website
• Detect and prevent abuse, spam, or unauthorized access

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

4. Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is processed by the following service providers, each under their own privacy policies:

• Telegram - message delivery, bot platform, and payment processing
• Google Analytics - anonymous web traffic analysis
• Cloudflare - content delivery network, DDoS protection, and DNS
• Backblaze B2 - thumbnail and avatar image storage
• Hetzner - server infrastructure (VPS hosting)

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5. Cookies and tracking

tikrec.com uses a minimal number of cookies:

• Theme preference - a localStorage entry to remember your light/dark mode choice
• Google Analytics - first-party cookies for anonymous session tracking (_ga, _ga_*)
• Cloudflare - security cookies to distinguish humans from bots

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking scripts beyond Google Analytics.

You can opt out of analytics tracking by using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin or Google Analytics Opt-out.

6. Data retention

We retain your Telegram user data for as long as your account exists with us. Recording metadata (titles, durations, thumbnails) is retained indefinitely as part of the public archive at tikrec.com.

If you delete your account, your personal data (Telegram ID, username, watchlist) will be removed. Recording metadata that does not identify you personally may be retained.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA):

• Access - request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction - request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion - request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability - receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection - object to processing of your data for certain purposes

8. Data security

Our servers are located in Germany (EU). If you access the service from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU. By using TikRec, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of TikRec after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
